Growing up in the Silicon Valley, I quickly became fascinated with the tech scene in a constant pursuit for more knowledge in the realms of software design and development. At age 10, I started teaching myself how to code, shortly thereafter discovering web design and development. At this time the internet was still evolving and Web 2.0 was just beginning. I am always challenging myself to come up with new, innovative ways to make applications more user-friendly. A big way I see this happening is through the User Interface and Experience concentration of product design, which I've consequently become very engaged in.

I built this API using the PHP MVC framework CodeIgniter. It utilizes Parse (BaaS) for database processes, while also using AWS S3 for image storage.
I programmed it using test-driven development techniques and have been constantly refactoring and optimizing the code to make it as fast as possible.
I wireframed and prototyped the iOS app using user-centered design techniques. Extensive UX Strategy to guide development along the way.

Zach Nelson Music was custom coded using WordPress. Using the WordPress CMS, Zach can now easily edit his own website without prior knowledge of programming languages. The custom WordPress theme we developed was created using CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and PHP.
Using Illustrator, I designed multiple iterations of the Codia.us logo until reaching a great design.
Designed and developed a new site with custom functionality (discussion board & eCommcerce) for the Cupertino based non-profit.
VSA is a non-profit that aims to get veterans out of the house and hospital and back into the therapeutic surroundings of nature. They take veterans fishing, hunting, and on other outdoor excursions.
I designed a new site and developed it using WordPress. The new site features a discussion board, event calendar, and shop.
